We work really hard at not being a metal band but kind of still are. NO! This is NOT another Retro-band. This is High and Mighty through and through. Yes, it has its roots, mainly in the Sabbath (and Blue Cheer Cactus?). But it is a melody sledgehammer that just burns your metal head away. Not because of the heavyness - but the GROOVE it has. And that is exaktly what other bands are missing. Canyyn will be huge ... or not at all. More music, please!

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately.
